CALANQUES OF SAINT-CYR & CASSIS
LA GALERE OR LE SOUS-MARIN
The calanque of La Galère, also named Sous-Marin (the submarine) in reference to its rock in the shape of a submarine. This creeks is situed between Bandol and the calanque of Port d’Alon : A little corner of paradize at 45 minute hike from the campsite. This is a nice place for bathing and relaxing. You also will be surprised by the amazing view on the littoral. Enjoy clear water and discover marine fauna and flora. A cove not to be missed during your Provencal holidays.
THE COASTAL PATH : PORT D'ALON TO LA MADRAGUE
At only 3.5 km from the 4 stars Clos Ste Thérèse campsite , between Bandol and the port of la Madrague, the small creek of Port d’Alon is a real jewel . Shadowy with pine trees, this calanque will delight the nature lovers and will please bathers. There are a lot of rocks where you can bask in the sun.

VISIT OF CALANQUES BY BOAT
After sailing along the coasts of Var and Bouches du Rhône, you will venture into each of the creeks, real natural harbors known since antiquity to offer the Romans safe shelters. The boardwalks inside this beautiful national park are comment by the captain.

Marseille is famous for its huge creeks which run along the sea to Cassis. Considered by the climber like an incontournable site, calanques offer all kind of hike : from the easiest to the most athletic, 160 km of marked path inside the Calanques National Park. Don’t forget to visit the unmissable creek of Sugiton (1 hour hike to go from Luminy, you can park your car at the car parks of the university).

BEACH LES LECQUES IN SAINT-CYR-SUR-MER
This beach is located less than 4.5km from the Clos Ste Thérèse campsite. Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer has a long and large sandy beach of 2km. Les lecques is the ideal beach for all the family, the water isn’t deep,You can walk on “La promenade rose” where there a lot of bars, restaurants,and shops where you should taste an ice cream. Children will be happy with the area intended for them. The beach has a vollyball field, a petanque court and you have the possiblity of try a lot of different aquatic and nautical activities.
BEACH LA MADRAGUE IN SAINT-CYR-SUR-MER
The sandy beach La Madrague is the most accomodate for children : a special area for children, supervised during the summer season. This beatch has a lot of possibility for try nautical activities. La Madrague has an exceptionnal panorama on the gulf.
BANDOL BEACHES
Would you like to visit Bandol and its beaches ? The bay of Bandol has a lot of sandy beaches and pebble beaches : Plage du Casino, Plage Central, Renecros, Plage d’Eden Roc, plage du Capelan, Plage de L’Anglaise. The beach La plage des Engaviers of Bandol is the wildest of the seaside ressort, in front of L’île Rousse.
SANARY-SUR-MER BEACHES
La Plage Dorée is located on Route de Bandol , at 5km from Clos Ste Thérèse campsite. La Plage Dorée is situed alongside the beach Le Lido. Both of these beaches formed the biggest of Sanary-sur-Mer. La Plage Dorée has a restaurant and you have the possibility of renting a deckchair. Sanary-sur-Mer has a lot of sandy or pebble beaches : The beach Portissol, the beach La Baie de Cousse, the beach La Gorguette, La plage du Levant or Le Littoral Préservé, spreading on 8km, where there are amazing preserved scenary.

COASTAL PATH
The trail Le Sentier du Littoral (coastal path) begins at the port of La Madrague in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. It goes to the creek Port d’Alon and ends to Bandol. You will discover the most beautiful sand beach of the Var and a magnificient panorama with magical daylight. You have the choice to do all the trail from Bandol to Saint-cyr-sur-mer (4h by walk) or do the half from Bandol to Port d’Alon or from Port d’Alon to La Madrague (2h walk)
THE VINEYARD PATH
The Vineyard path is an easy trail in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. You are going to discover La Bastide de la Narlette, the Bandol vineyard, olive trees and all the mediteranean flora. From the agricultural heritage, built or natural to the discover of mediterranean landscapes, you will be astonished about this atypical trail. You need 1 hour hike for do these 4km.

SAINT CYR-SUR-MER
Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer is a lovely village close to the sea. Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer has amazing landscape with its beaches, trails, creek of Port d’Alon. Don’t froget to visit the new port of Les Lecques and the little port La Madrague, a mediterreanean leisure port, with bars, restaurants and shops.
BANDOL
The bay of Bandol is the natural jewellery of this provincial village , which has been able to conserve its authenticity , its charm, with its light , its colours, its smells of Provence, its local food and way of life. Its sandy, pebbles and creek beaches. Don’t forget to taste the famous Bandol wine (to be consumed with moderation).
SANARY-SUR-MER
Sanary-sur-Mer, authentic shipping port , located in Provence, between Marseille and Toulon, welcomes you in summer as in winter with its provincial traditions and softness of life. And its magnificent and immense artisanal night market every night in July and August. Idea for a family : you can visit the little Zoo in Sanary-sur-Mer.
LA CADIERE D'AZUR
La Cadière D’Azur is a Provincial village, located on a hill, in front of the village Le Castellet. It’s an authentic village with flowery roads and full of history. Surronded by pines forest and the famous Bandol vineyard.
CASTELLET & THE CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD
Le Castellet, a lovely medieval village surronded by plains and wineyard hills. Le Castellet is well-known for the artisanal activities (weaving, pottery, painting, copperworks,…). Le Castellet is also famous for its circuit Paul Ricard where a lot of big competition take place.

CASSIS
Cassis is a lovely fishing Mediterranean port. Overhang by a old caste , the city is well-known for its pebbles and its creeks with its limestone steep cliffs. The port is embellished by buildings in pastel colors, by cafés, and restaurants. The Cassis local vineyards are well-known for the production of white wine.
SIX-FOURS-LES-PLAGES
On the Provençale coast, Six-Fours-les-Plages is a sportif and seaside destination. You should visit Le Brusc, a little typical fishing port and L’île du Gaou, located alongside Le Brusc and in front of L’île des Embiez. It’s a lovely place with very intimate creeks. You should hike on the trail for go on the peak Notre-Dmae-du-Mai (1h hike, 2.4km). The 360° is one of the most beautiful of La Côte d’Azur. You should do this trip very early in the morning or for the sunrise where the light of the sun on the mountains are amazing.
LA CIOTAT
Between Saint Cyr sur mer and Cassis, La Ciotat is a city to explore. Visit l’île verte, the beautiful cliff of Figuerolle, the Mugel Park and don’t miss the amazing road : La route des Crêtes. La route des Crêtes is situed on the cliff the Cap Canaille from Cassis to La Ciotat. On the road, you will find a lot of little car parks for walk and enjoy wonderful see view. This road is close when there is wind.
MARSEILLE
Vallon des Auffes: A small Mediterranean traditional and typical fishing port, picturesque in Marseille.
Les Goudes : A rocky decor which is abrupt, immense and worn away, with sparse vegetation, but with a truly splendid deep sea for them and for the visitors, numerous restaurants and bars dress their tables with the shade from a parasol. Starting point for hikers, almost 145 km of trails are marked out in an area of savage beauty .
Callelongue : Tiny fjord situated at the edge of the world, Callelongue is the most set back port of Marseille and the starting point for long walks on the rocky inlets, hiding the little ports of Sormiou and Morgiou.
Notre Dame de la Garde: After having gone up to Notre Dame de la Garde, patron of sailors,ôrising 162m above sea level, you can visit l’Estaque via the roads of C zanne or la Treille at the foot of the Pagnol columns.
Chateau d’If : From here , the castle housed numerous prisoners, real and imaginary.

ST PONS VALLEY
The beauty of the site and historical wealth of the monuments make this park a classic weekend with the family. Right from the entrance to the park, we can see the ruins of an old paper factory, irrigated by the canal. Higher up, in a meadow on the left, you can admire the chapel of St. Martin, old Parish Church of Gemenos le Vieux. Continuing to rise among the ferns, the chestnuts, the maples and cedars, you will come to face the mossy waterfall of the old mill.
STE BEAUME
The Massif de la Sainte-Baume is a limestone wall rising more than 1100 m above sea level and develops from East to West for 14km. This impressive rocky barrier gets its name from a cave (baumo in the native language) which sheltered Saint Marie-Madeleine at the end of her life. L’ILE DES EMBIEZ

You will access by boat from Sanary-Sur-Mer or Six-Fours-Les-Plages.
PORQUEROLLES ISLAND
The Porquerolles island, at 20 minutes by boat from La Tour Fondue is the pearl of the islands of Hyères. On this corner of paradise, on the path lined with pines and eucalyptus, you will come across only bicycles and hikers. With more than 54 km of marked trail, the isle offer a lot of various hikes like the walk for going to the lighhouse, circuits near the plain of Notre Dame or near Le Langoustier. You will appreciate the Northen white sand beaches with its clear water. You should rent a bicycle on the island in order to enjoy the most of the island and the splendid landscapes.

L’île de Port-Cros, National Park is 30 minutes by boat from Lavandou. It can only be discovered by walk.
